One of the first freeze-dried pure* Human Adipose Exosome powders available on the market today. Mix it with what YOU want to create a daily serum, cream or micro-infusion elixir to needle with!
Groundbreaking Exosome Technology for your skin's regeneration, aging, and photoaging needs.
EXO-AD is a pure Exosome derived from ethically sourced human adipose stem cells. Exosomes do not have a nucleus or DNA and cannot replicate. Instead, they carry proteins, growth factors, cytokines and amino acids to help beautify the skin when Micro Infused or applied topically.
Recommended uses:
- During needling processes at home or professionally.
- Aging skin with wrinkles
Targeting post care (peels, microneedle/collagen induction therapy, fractional lasers and LED therapies). - Effective in reducing excess inflammatory response.
Enhancing the protective barrier of the skin. - Can aid in the collagen synthesis cycle.
Optimizing natural turnover cycles for healthier skin and hair.
Helping to reduce chronic redness in the skin from inflammation. - Skin hydration. Lipids and proteins can help to improve moisture levels.
- Melanin regulation can aid in evening the skin's tone.
Increased skin elasticity.
Exosomes = Cell to Cell communication. This is cutting edge! Exosomes are transmitters that send information from cell to cell - basically telling it what to do. Their message is clear:
-
Activate the body's natural healing capabilities.
-
Reduce the signs of aging.
-
Reduce inflammation.
-
Stimulate collagen and elastin.
-
Regenerate
-
Regenerate.
-
Regenerate!
When they are applied to the skin, or needled into the skin, they are able to pass along their messages/proteins/growth factors to the recipient cells.
Stem cells posses an ability to hone-in and find damaged areas within our bodily organs and tissues. During this process, stem cells secrete various proteins like cytokines, chemokines, growth factors, angiogenic factors ... and Exosomes. These proteins work together to regenerate the damaged areas. This effect is called the Paracrine Effect. In a nutshell, this "cell signaling" induces changes in nearby sells that stimulate cell growth!
AAPE contains over 150 types of growth factor proteins and exosomes that enhance this effect.
EXO-AD states that it has 95% exosomes. Is that a high amount? Oh yes! Other exosome serums that you might find out there most likely have a content of around 10 or up to 25%. Ours far exceeds this. The exosome concentration is more than 1.2 x 10 (10th power) particles/vial.
The answer is easy - and of course is the best one = humans.
NO! This does not come from a baby, or umbilical cords. Please rest your minds.
Exosomes are naturally occurring though, and must be extracted from some sort of body tissue. This is ethically sourced from human adipose tissues that were safely and legally donated. KFDA human cell and tissue culture media safety standards fully equipped within EXotractionTM patented technology. There are over 29 patents in this technology with over 17 years of product manufacturing.
Cleanroom grade of the cell processing/cultivation facility is Class 1B (Class 10,000) or higher. So where this is created is very safe. Other safety concerns might be regarding human DNA? There is no DNA present in an exosome AAPE. Only the naturally secreted proteins are collected with the exosomes. All cellular debris is eliminated. There are many rigorous tests that are performed for the safety of use. Exosomes are non-immunogenic and SAFE as topical treatments.
How do I use this if it is a powder?
This will need to be incorporated INTO another serum or saline solution. Please avoid acids or any very low pH products.
USAGE OPTION 1: EXO-AD powder can be blended with your favorite 1oz. serum and used as a daily product. Simple to mix. Add a small amount of your serum into the powder and shake to dissolve. Pour into final container, shake fully and store in Beauty Fridge. *Do NOT mix with acids.
OPTION 2: For a concentrated infusion, add up to 4ml of Distilled water, Saline Solution or another applicable serum into the EXO-AD bottle. Shake and allow the powder to dissolve. Use immediately, refrigerate the remainder. If you are needling, you will use most of this at the time of treatment, but may have some left for the next few days during healing.
Yes! A 12-week study was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of combining HACS (human adipose tissue stem cell-derived exosome-containing solution) and microneedling to treat facial skin aging - including: Overall skin improvement, wrinkles, elasticity, skin hydration, skin pigmentation, and collagen/elastin histopathologic evaluation. The study was approved by the Institutional Review Board and followed ethical guidelines. Participants provided consent and received three treatment sessions, spaced three weeks apart, with a six-week follow-up. During each session, HACS and microneedling were applied to one side of the face, while the other side received microneedling with saline as a control. Treatments were randomly assigned to each side of the face.
Twenty-eight participants, all over 40 years old, were enrolled. The sample size was determined based on feasibility. Exclusion criteria included pregnancy, keloid scarring, and active skin conditions, and participants were not allowed to use other treatments like resurfacing or fillers during the study.
This study demonstrated that combined treatment with HACS application and microneedling is effective for facial skin aging. Based on the results obtained from clinical evaluation, objective measurement of various skin aging signs, and microscopic evaluation of histological changes, this combined therapy exhibited higher efficacy than that of microneedling alone. Furthermore, combining both methods was a safe treatment with tolerable side effect profiles. By the 12 week visit, 46% of the participants had an Improved status, 14% had Much Improved status, and 7% had Very Much Improved status over the standard needling with only a saline solution![2] So much benefit when adding on the EXO-AD to your needling program.
Solar radiation, also known as UV, UVA, UBV and UVR. These are various ultraviolet radiation wavelengths from the sun. UV exposure is the major source of extrinsic skin aging, which is also known as photoaging.
Photoaging accounts for nearly 80% of facial aging! This is why daily SPF is so important.
It is characterized by fine wrinkles, dryness, laxity, rough texture, decreased elasticity, impaired wound healing, and benign and malignant growths.[1] In the 12 week study referenced above, the melanin index significantly decreased on the HACS side from baseline to week 12. The average decrease was 9.9%.[2]
As skin ages, its protective barrier weakens and recovers more slowly after damage. The levels of important lipids, like ceramides, decrease in the outer skin layer, leading to reduced secretion of protective lipid structures. This loss of ceramides is a key factor in the weakened skin barrier. Restoring ceramide levels could help improve this barrier.
Additionally, ASCEs (skin exosomes) stimulate the production of genes that support the skin barrier and lipid metabolism, including the creation of new ceramides. This promotes the formation of protective structures in the skin, reduces water loss, improves skin hydration, and restores the skin's barrier function. Therefore, ASCEs likely contribute to the observed improvements in skin hydration.

FAQ's
When is the best time to use exosomes in my regimen?
Exosomes are especially beneficial before/during/or after needling sessions. They can also be used on any skin that is inflamed or irritated - such as after a peel or laser session, IPL. Many uses. They can also be used on a daily basis, or as needed for healthy skin.
One of the most powerful ways to utilize an exosome's properties is to use it during a Collagen Induction Therapy/Micro-infusion session. The impact is multi-faceted and synergistic. The exosomes and 150+ growth factors and proteins, can penetrate deeply into the skin through the channels created during the process. Our ALQEMI Micro Infusion Suite is the perfect tool to use with our EXO-AD.
What is exosome therapy?
Using exosomes in therapeutic practices. Microneedling is one of the best, and most obvious choices, as it can allow the exosomes to penetrate deeper into the skin to stimulate renewal on multiple layers of tissue. This can make the exosomes more efficient than in just a topical application.
Does this contain preservatives?
No. This is the pure frozen exosomes for your use. Your dilutant will contain a preservative most likely though.
Does this need to stay frozen or cold?
EXO-AD needs to remain cold for best use. It will be ok up to 10 days during shipping, but should immediately be cooled when it arrives. Global orders must choose an express method to purchase this. It is stored in a deep freezer at our facility for freshness. Once it arrives at your home, please refrigerate or freeze the box immediately. We have countertop Beauty Refrigerators for ease of use. See those here.
What is a lyophilized powder?
Lyophilization, also known as freeze-drying, is where water is removed from a frozen substance by sublimation, leaving behind a dry powder that can be easily reconstituted when needed; essentially, it's a stable, dehydrated form of a substance that can be stored for long periods and then rehydrated by adding liquid.
What is Human Adipocyte Conditioned Media 95%?
